Burj Al Arab Hotel Dubai
Burj Al Arab Hotel Dubai
Who says only Las Vegas has the most outrageous hotels in the world. True, in Vegas you will find huge 3000 – 4000 rooms hotels with opulent suites, rollercoasters wrapped around the hotels, endless restaurants, designer boutiques, theme parks in the hotel back yard… the list goes on.

It is quite possible that the Burj Al Arab in Dubai could claim the title for the most over the top hotel in the world. It is well known and publicized as the only seven star hotel. The Burj Al Arab is 28 stories high and built in the shape of a sail. One of the most beautiful aspects of this hotels aside from its pure sense of presence is how the hotel turns into the colours of the rainbow by night. This is a sight to behold.

If the ‘normal’ rooms are over the top then the Royal and Presidential suites are on an altogether different level. These suites come equipped with rotating beds, a private home cinema, elevators, and a bank of telephones, a private kitchen and a butler. There is even a separate entrance for the butlers to enter and leave your suite. The highly trained butlers will take care of your every need.

If you are feeling hungry then there isn’t very far to go, there’s the butler of course or you can visit any one of the many restaurants within the hotel. The best known is the Al Mahara which is set under water within coral reefs. The Al Mahara restaurant is a sea food restaurant offering up truly avant garde dishes. The dress code is formal, no jeans or trainers allowed. Who would expect anything less?

If you are after some seven star opulence and possibly the highest levels of service currently available on Planet Earth you have to book yourself into the Burj Al Arab.
